News Detail
We have launched a full-scale HACCP certification support service for food business operators such as food supermarkets and food manufacturers, targeting companies in Fukuoka and Saga prefectures that wish to comply with the HACCP institutionalization that will be mandated in 2021.
HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) is a method of sanitation management in which food business operators themselves identify hazardous factors (hazards) such as food poisoning contamination and foreign material contamination, and then control particularly important processes to eliminate or reduce these hazardous factors in the entire process from receiving raw materials to shipping products. This is a method of sanitation management to ensure product safety by controlling the most important processes from the arrival of raw materials to the shipment of products in order to eliminate or reduce such hazards.
The Food Sanitation Law, which was revised on June 30, 2018, clearly stipulates the institutionalization of HACCP, which in principle requires all food businesses to "manage sanitation in accordance with HACCP. "The institutionalization of HACCP will take effect in June 2020, and all food businesses will be fully implemented by June 2021, which is All food businesses are required to fully implement HACCP by June 2021.
In April 2014, we launched an internal food hygiene project to provide support for hygiene management systems and hygiene products to our food business clients. At the same time, we have also promoted the acquisition of food hygiene-related qualifications such as "HACCP Instructor," "HACCP Coordinator," and "JFS-A/B Standard Auditor," and currently have eight qualified staff members supporting our customers' food hygiene management.
As the HACCP system will become mandatory, we will strengthen our support services for the establishment of a sanitation management system that can respond to this system, and we will also actively propose more advanced sanitation support services such as acquisition of HACCP certification.
In the future, we will not only provide packaging materials to food business operators, but also strengthen our efforts to respond to their concerns, including hygiene management services such as HACCP acquisition support.
