Press Release] Participation in the 100 Renewable Energy Declaration RE Action

We are pleased to announce that we have joined the "Renewable Energy 100 Declaration RE Action," a new framework that aims to convert 100% of the electricity we use to renewable energy.

The Renewable Energy 100 Declaration RE Action is a new framework for companies, local governments, educational institutions, medical institutions, and other organizations to demonstrate their intention and actions to convert 100% of their electricity use to renewable energy by 2050 at the latest, and to promote the use of 100% renewable energy.

To date, we have been working to reduce CO2 emissions through such measures as switching to LED UV lamps for printing presses, converting company-owned vehicles to hybrids, and converting raw paper waste to RPF (solid fuel). In addition, we will accelerate our efforts to achieve carbon-zero emissions by 2025 by switching to the "Renewable Energy ECO Plan," which emits no CO2 during power generation, for a portion of the electricity used at the head office starting this month.
