Press Release] Registered as an IT vendor for the "IT Introduction Subsidy," which subsidizes the cost of creating mail-order websites.

We are pleased to announce that we have been registered as an IT introduction subsidy business (IT vendor) for the digitalization infrastructure introduction framework of the IT introduction subsidy.

The IT introduction subsidy is a program of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) that provides partial government subsidies for the introduction of IT tools to support IT businesses in the production of EC (mail order) websites, etc. The objective is to improve and strengthen management capabilities by increasing business efficiency and sales through the introduction of IT tools. In particular, the Digitalization Infrastructure Subsidy covers up to 3.5 million yen (two-thirds subsidy rate) for order and supply software, payment settlement software, EC software, etc. The subsidy also covers the purchase of hardware such as PCs and tablets, as well as cloud computing fees for up to two years.

Subsidy amount: 50 to 500,000 yen or less (within 3/4 of subsidy rate), over 500,000 yen to 3.5 million yen (within 2/3 of subsidy rate)
Auxiliary software: Ordering, payment, EC *Only when "Makeshop" is used.
Subsidies for: Software purchases, cloud computing (up to 2 years), PCs and tablets (up to 100,000 yen, subsidy rate of up to 1/2), etc.
Deadline: Monday, August 8, 17:00 (tentative)
Date of grant decision: Thursday, September 8 (tentative)
Project implementation period: Grant decision - 17:00, March 31, 2023 (Friday)

We are mainly engaged in the sale of packaging materials for food products and the printing and processing of seals and packages, but we also provide sales support to our customers and, as part of this support, we are actively engaged in the creation of e-commerce sites and other mail-order support services.
Now that we are registered as an IT vendor, we will be able to provide support to companies that wish to utilize the IT introduction subsidy to create e-commerce sites, etc. In the future, we will make proposals to existing customers and other companies that are considering expanding their sales channels.
