Fukuoka Prefecture Receives Governor's Commendation for Company Declaring Support for Raising Children

On November 27, Minebea received a certificate of commendation from Fukuoka Prefecture Governor Seitaro Hattori for its outstanding efforts to help employees balance work and child rearing.

The award was presented to five companies and offices in Fukuoka Prefecture that have registered as "Fukuoka Prefecture Child-Raising Support Declaration Companies" and have been recognized for their outstanding efforts in creating a workplace environment conducive to child-rearing. The "Fukuoka Prefecture Child-Raising Support Declaration Companies" are companies that declare specific measures to support their employees in balancing work and child-rearing, and as of the end of October, approximately 8,500 companies have registered with the prefecture.

The award recognized our company's efforts to create an environment conducive to early return to work after childcare leave and during childcare through the operation of a company-led daycare center that also provides childcare for sick children.

Fukuoka Prefecture Governor Seitaro Hattori said, "I deeply respect this excellent initiative that serves as a model for others. With the rapidly declining birthrate, the prefecture must promote the creation of a society where people can have and raise children with peace of mind. I ask for your continued support." I look forward to your continued support.

The award ceremony was televised on the evening of the 27th on KBC's "Siritaka! on the evening of the 27th.

We will continue our efforts to create a workplace and community where it is easy to balance work and child rearing.
