At the time of its founding, the company manufactured and sold dried noodles at a local factory in Kurume, and later expanded to include semi-fresh noodles and other varieties. The company then started a new type of business, "Tanaka's Noodle House," as a restaurant and directly managed store, and became a popular local noodle specialty store.
