Manual labeling is a challenge

A customer ordering product labels consulted us about the difficulty of applying them by hand.

They are hand-applying product labels to private product bottles.

The customer is unable to apply labels automatically like a labeler (a machine that applies labels), so they are applying labels by sight.

It takes time to get used to the process, and even if you do, you may still fail to apply the label, and it is time-consuming to peel it off, so the label is wasted if you fail. Even if you think you have applied the labels straight on the cylindrical bottles, they may be slightly askew when you are finished, or you may think "this much is OK," but when you display the bottles, you will find that there is a noticeable variation, and even a well-designed label will not look good.

The important label is the face of the product. I brought it home with me as homework to see if there was some way to make it better.

A twist on sticker mounts!

After much worry and concern, we proposed the followingCreate a label "starting from the bottom of the bottle."Things to do.

Consider the bottom position of the bottle to be zero centimeters, and check how many centimeters above it the label is to be placed, rising from there.

The distance from the bottom of the bottle to the label is only the base of the sticker (separator) with no glue surface.11The sheets are cut so that the position to be affixed can be defined.

In addition, on the base of the sticker,2By applying two slits, only the center portion can be attached first, and the left and right sides can be peeled off separately later.

Improved work efficiency

Dramatic reduction of sticking failures, which are common in hand-application.

Please talk to us if you think it is a bad idea!

Hand-applying product labels is not a small story.

Even labels that were easy to apply to small bottles can be misattached by hand if the size or shape of the bottle changes, as the labels are applied by eye, so they are inevitably slanted or airy.

However, by making a twist on the mount, as in this case, we were able to reduce the loss of both time and labels.

This is a solution that we were able to achieve only after consulting with you.

The customer was very pleased, saying, "We have reduced losses and improved work efficiency.
