Kasanoya Co., Ltd. has been in business for more than 100 years, manufacturing and selling "Umegae mochi" on the approach to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine.
This time, we were asked to strengthen our recruiting activities due to the coincidence of the system reinforcement with the increase in production volume and the graduation (retirement) of student part-time staff.

In order to achieve early recruitment, we developed a strategy to narrow our target to "current university students" by taking advantage of the location of a university in the neighborhood.
We thought that what they were looking for was not just a part-time job for a paycheck, but a "place to stay" that would respect their studies and their own personalities. We imagined the students' real life lines and concerns, and created job offers based on the following four points.

(1) Prove that "academics is the real job" through a mechanism.
In order to give a concrete image of balancing work with schoolwork, we have included examples of actual shifts for student staff, rather than simply stating "free shifts. We visualized actual situations such as "I can work in between classes" and "I can focus on my studies during exam periods. In addition, by adding comments from current staff, we created a sense of security for students who want to prioritize their studies.

(2) Flexible attitude that respects "my personality".
We were told by Kasa-no-ie that there are students who wish to have free hair color, so we clearly stated that there is no hair color policy. We realized through this support that this is an important factor for students who want to enjoy fashion.

(iii) Appeal for benefits directly related to daily life (makanai provision)
The company emphasized the "makanai provision," which offers significant economic benefits to students. From the practical aspect of saving money on food costs, the company emphasized its attractiveness as a partner that supports students in their daily lives.

(4) Eliminate psychological hurdles to application
The company clearly states that "first-time part-timers are welcome," and also clearly explains its training and support system. The structure was designed to make it easy for inexperienced workers to take the first step by dispelling their concerns about whether or not they can do it.

The program achieved significant results in a short period of time, just one month from the start of the program.
