As a manufacturer of food packages and seals, we have established an in-house food labeling project, and since the revision of the Law, we have regularly held seminars and disseminated information to educate our customers on the labeling of the origin of raw materials.

Since there are penalties* for failure to comply with the labeling system, we decided to distribute the video again to promote understanding and compliance with the labeling system for the place of origin of raw materials.

We will try to take questions from viewers in the video, and will respond to them later after checking with the project team and experts in the field.

What is the system for labeling the place of origin of raw materials?
The system for labeling the origin of raw materials stipulates that the origin of raw materials used in processed foods processed in Japan, excluding imported products, must be indicated on the product. In the case of fresh foods, the origin of the raw materials that must be indicated is indicated, and in the case of processed foods, the place of production is indicated.
It is one of the food labeling standards stipulated in the Food Labeling Law.
