News Detail
Marushin International Nursery School, a corporate-led nursery school operated by our company, has recently started recycling paper diapers. The diapers generated during childcare are placed in designated bags and collected by a collection company. The diapers are then taken to the recycling plant of Total Care System Corporation, which is involved in the "diaper recycling system," for recycling.
Due to the increase in the elderly population, the amount of disposable diapers produced is increasing every year. Increased demand for disposable diapers leads to deforestation due to increased pulp use during production, or environmental destruction due to disposal at the time of disposal. The recycling of disposable diapers can help protect forests andCO₂, etc.
Used diapers are brought to the recycling plant Love Forest Omuta (Omuta City, Fukuoka Prefecture) by a collection company. Here, the diapers are treated with water solubilization to decompose them into recycled pulp, plastic, and sludge, which are then transformed into building materials, solid fuels, and soil conditioners.
