Bringing “Yoriso” to Life.
The intense heat continues day after day. I am sure that all of you are working hard while taking precautions against heatstroke and looking after your health on a daily basis.
Over the past few months, we have been sharing with you the extremely challenging realities we face, including global uncertainty, a series of additional price increases for packaging materials, and supply constraints. Amid these circumstances—which could be described as an “unprecedented crisis”—we, too, have struggled, and our sales team has been reporting to us daily on the deep concerns many of our customers are facing.
"How to Create Product Value That Can Withstand Rising Material Costs"
"How to Increase Sales Amid a Severe Labor Shortage"
Faced with questions like this, for which there is no single correct answer, what can we at Marushin do right now?
Simply discussing price increases or informing customers about supply restrictions does not mean we are truly serving their best interests.
That’s why we decided to provide our customers with direct guidance to help them take their next “step.” The result of this initiative is our in-house exhibition, the “MARUSHIN Yoriso SOLUTION FAIR (Marushin Fair),” which we will be holding again this September.
I agonized quite a bit over whether or not to hold the event. I made the decision at a time when the situation in the Middle East was at its most chaotic and the future remained uncertain. However, I came to realize that it is precisely because of times like these that we should go ahead with it.
This exhibition is not merely a venue for displaying our products and machinery. It is a place where we can convey to you, through concrete solutions, what Marushin’s mission—“Taking on the Future and Supporting Our Customers’ Challenges”—truly means.
At this year’s fair, we’ve prepared a wide range of seminars and workshops designed to deliver immediate results on the front lines—including sales promotion ideas for “thriving in an era of soaring costs,” brand-building strategies leveraging AI and digital technology, and unique strategies for the food e-commerce business, which is growing in importance year by year. In addition, we have organized practical programs designed to help you survive the rapidly changing market, including container relay proposals from major tray manufacturers aimed at the year-end sales season, as well as steps for developing overseas sales channels with an eye toward the 1.4-billion-person Indian market.
One of the highlights is that the “Legend of Prepared Foods”—who’s been making waves on TV—will be joining us as a speaker. We encourage you to register for the seminars as soon as possible, just as you did for the exhibition.
Our hope is that every visitor will leave with as many “seeds of hope” as possible—thinking, “I didn’t even know a service like this existed. This might just solve our challenges.” We also hope to help you envision a future filled with excitement, even if just a little, amidst today’s challenging business environment. We believe that this is our primary objective for this fair and the very embodiment of our spirit of “being of service.”
On September 15 and 16, as we move past the summer and welcome the bountiful autumn, our entire company is ready and waiting to support you in your “next challenge.” Precisely because we live in uncertain times, why not start right here—let’s discuss your ideal future “together” and bring it to life?
Since the event is being held in Hakata, we understand that it may be difficult for those living far away to attend. As we prepare for the exhibition, our sales team will be sure to present the “useful solutions” we’ve refined directly to you.
We humbly ask our customers in Kyushu and Yamaguchi to please come and visit us.
We look forward to seeing you at the venue.
