Seven surfactants effective against coronaviruses
In response to the spread of the novel coronavirus and to expand the range of non-alcohol-based disinfection options available for use at home and in the workplace, the National Institute of Technology and Evaluation (NITE), an independent administrative agency, is conducting evaluations of the effectiveness of various disinfection methods at the request of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
On May 28, the fourth meeting of the expert review committee was held, and it was determined that surfactants are effective against the novel coronavirus.
