The Japanese Standard Tables of Food Composition (8th revision) are scheduled to be released at the end of 2020.

This is convenient! You can search by food name.

For example, if you enter a food ingredient search for "apple" and click the "Show Results" button, you will get results for multiple apple-related products. You can also display other ingredients and add other foods.
It is also a very convenient site with graphs and CSV data downloads.

You can search by popular food access ranking.
You can search for foods that are accessed on a daily, monthly, or yearly basis.

You can search by day, month, or year, and you can search back as far as 2009. Four types of display rank lists can be selected: up to 10th, 20th, 50th, and 100th. This may be used to identify trends in popular ingredients and hints for product development.

This is a database of food ingredients corresponding to the Japanese Standard Tables of Food Composition 2015 (Seventh Revision) Supplement 2018.Please make use of this database by utilizing meaningful information in a variety of situations.

This database was developed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology and is currently available on a trial basis. When using this data in a book or other publication, please cite the "Standard Tables of Food Composition in Japan 2015 (7th Revision)" as the source.
