Google My Business

Now that the COVID-19 pandemic has cut off our avenues for acquiring new customers, our company has begun focusing on Google My Business. Businesses with physical locations—particularly restaurants—may already be familiar with it and actively using it. Since we operate in the B2B sector, we have not yet fully proven whether Google My Business can actually help us attract customers.

However, as shown in the photo, if you search on Google for terms like “Gotanda sticker printing,” our business now appears in the results. We expect this to generate a steady stream of leads going forward, so we plan to register all of Marushin’s sales offices. Google has a grand vision that links to the future of autonomous driving, and it’s said that they’re going to put a lot of effort into Google My Business.

For retail stores and restaurants, the platform also includes a posting feature that can be used to drive foot traffic. I’ve heard there are many success stories of using this platform to post coupons and other offers to encourage visits. It seems that posting frequently and responding promptly to reviews—showing Google that the business is well-managed—are key factors in achieving a higher ranking. The review I posted has been viewed over 1,000 times in just two months. I hope it helped attract at least a few customers.

If you need a review, please don’t hesitate to ask one of our staff members. Since Google may be logging your browsing history, we’ll post the review only after we’ve actually visited your location.
If you ask me to come, I’ll be happy to do so. I’ll continue my research.
