Printing Column] Amazing Boxes
pxWhen we receive a request for a quote for a certain box, the first thing we do after receiving the request is to predict how the box is made.

A brief description of the process,❶print 4-color + gold on gold luster paper using a printing press→❷white foil using a foil-stamping machine→❸PPP pasting→❹thickening with silk→❺embossing with a foil-stamping machine→❻punching with a Thomson→❼pasting with a gluerThe first two are the following.
They said they did not have a large quantity, and I worried, "It's going to be crazy expensive...what am I going to do?
So we came up with the following method.

The process is now.Print white + 4 colors on a printing machine →❷PPP pasting →❸Embossing by foil stamping machine →❹Punching by Thomson →❺Pasting by gluerThe result is a 40% reduction in delivery time and cost, without much change in appearance.
I like to use gold foil paper or gold deposition paper as "silver foil + printing" because white can be reproduced beautifully, and I also recommend this technique because it allows for expression like various colored foils. The number of times the foil-stamping machine is passed through increases when gold, silver, red, or white foil is used, but with this method, the foil-stamping machine itself is not used.
The silver paper can be printed in white and color to give the image of printing on regular paper, or in color to give the image of foil, and then pseudo-embossing can be used to create matte or glossy effects, adding variety to a single box.
