In this issue, we would like to introduce a case in which we were able to reduce costs by reviewing the outer box (corrugated cardboard) in which products are packed.

An outer box that packs frequently used products. Although not directly in the consumer's hands, these boxes are used to protect the products inside and must be strong enough to be stacked, etc., for transportation and storage.

Therefore, we checked the material and looked for areas where the thickness could be changed. It passed the test for strength.

At the same time, we proposed changing the number of colors used for printing from three to two. This resulted in a cost reduction of approximately 7%, and the customer was very pleased.

Not all packages and stickers can be cost-effective, but reviewing them may lead to new discoveries, such as ease of use.
