President's Column] SNS Video Distribution for Foreigners

Since February, we have been distributing videos of sightseeing spots and gourmet information on various regions of Kyushu for foreign visitors to Japan and overseas through our "KYUJOY" account.

Our two video staff members, under the guidance of proven outside professionals, handle everything from filming to editing and distribution. As of this writing (April 12, 10 AM), we have 4,310 followers and our most viewed videos have been viewed over 950,000 times. 17 of our 57 posts have been viewed over 10,000 times. The number of followers continues to grow by 100 to 150 daily.

It seems that more foreigners are watching our videos than we expected, and our challenge is gradually shifting from getting more views to getting people to actually take action. We would like to increase the number of followers while distributing high quality videos to attract inbound customers to our customers' stores, and to link this to exports and cross-border e-commerce.

Since we have just introduced a drone, we will produce and distribute content about tourism and food in Kyushu that will attract foreigners, including aerial photography.
