Frequently Asked Questions

Q
Do alcohol products have an expiration date?

Although there is no set expiration date, we recommend that the product be used up within the following time limits regardless of whether it is unopened or opened.
Designated quasi-drug: 3 years after manufacture
Food additives: 2 years after manufacture

Q
Can alcohol formulations be diluted?

Alcohol preparations are less effective when diluted.
Also, do not dilute the product as this may cause clogging of the sprayer.

Q
What is the ratio for using food additive sodium hypochlorite (chlorine bleach) to sanitize vegetables?

When using the food additive sodium hypochlorite for sterilization of vegetables and fruits, use it at an effective chlorine concentration of approximately 200 ppm.

For the 6% product, the ratio is 33 ml to 10 L of water.
To use, soak in diluted solution for 5 minutes, then rinse well under running water.

Q
What is the expiration date of your products? (unopened, opened, quasi-drug, chlorinated, etc. of the product)
