Yamami Brewery, a long-established soy sauce maker, consulted us about packaging and effective sales methods for a new product.

The product is a "soup" with a functional claim.

This is an attractive product that combines the ”deliciousness” of a long-established company that manufactures and sells original tare and seasonings based on the production of tamari soy sauce, with added functionality.

 

Since differentiation from ordinary products is also an important point, we first conducted a 3C analysis, making sure to conduct careful interviews.

It is a process of formulating hypotheses while organizing information about the company, its competitors, and its customers to determine what strengths it has and can take advantage of.
By analyzing competing products, including those of major companies, we can also "learn" about the appeal of the products we accompany.

Futuristic branding is also proposed.

We explored the direction of branding together with the client, taking into account "the kind of people they want to reach" and "the kind of design they are looking for," while setting target demographics and other factors.

The client asked us to design a label that would give the product a recognizable face, but as a further vision, we also designed a box to present the important visual elements of "branding" in an easy-to-understand manner.
